Special thanks to: Jim Staley and Roulette Intermedium who offered us a home to develop this music in concert for the past four years. Thanks also to the Roulette staff, Bill Laswell, Noureddine El Warari, Royce Froehlich, Hannah Rudolph (for the composition titles) and to our supportive audience many of who listened to us on numerous occasions and thus witnessed the evolution of the music.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the musicians who have been working to develop the prototypical direction of Go: Organic Orchestra. They have brought all the qualities of great artistry to the ongoing evolution of the Go: Organic Orchestra concept: open-mindedness, studiousness, imagination and a high level of virtuosity. In the performance moment, as we brought the music into being, they each soulfully and creatively projected their inner spirit through the voice their instrument while serving the collective expression.

Can You Imagine…The Sound of a Dream
Dreams, like music itself is a bridge and a relationship to that eternal mystery: the presence and intention of the unconscious. They are pure nature; our aboriginal truth. The music on this recording can be considered as dreamlike soundscapes or sonic dreamscapes. Like our dreams, music holds the tension of ambiguity that intimates and points beyond itself towards that realm of mystery. It carries an energy that constructs bridges to those infinite worlds which otherwise lie beyond our rational capacities.
In our dreams, images and feelings rise up unbidden and connected in ways that often seem mysterious. Like emotive dream images, musical sound gestures appear juxtaposed in unusual and sometimes surprising ways. A musical theme might return in another composition just as a face might return again in a different dream, familiar, yet strange. While dreaming, time seems to stretch and contract unpredictably. We experience time in a non-linear way; past, present and future interweave freely. In this music, the middle can become the beginning, the beginning becomes the end and the end can become the middle. Sound gestures, constructed from this kind of emotional and intuitive logic become organic form. Herein some of the music pieces return as a future echo into the past.- Adam Rudolph
